_*Qualifications and Skills:*_ *Position Overview:* The Installer 2 at Curtis plays a vital role in the successful execution of installation projects under the guidance of the Installer Lead.
This position involves assisting in the installation of foodservice equipment and supplies, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
The Installer will report directly to the Installation Supervisor and collaborate closely with the installation team to ensure efficient project completion.
*Key Responsibilities:* * _*Installation Assistance:*_ Support the Installer Lead in the setup and installation of various foodservice equipment and supplies, including but not limited to walk-in coolers and freezers, hood ventilation systems, stainless fabrication, ovens, combi ovens, buy out equipment and fabricated serving line.
* _*Team Collaboration:*_ Work closely with the installation team, owner, general contractor and trades to ensure smooth coordination and execution of tasks on job sites.
* _*Equipment Handling:*_ Assist in the proper handling, assembly, and positioning of foodservice equipment during installations to ensure accuracy and safety.
* _*Compliance and Safety:*_ Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
* _*Tool and Vehicle Maintenance:*_ Take responsibility for the care and maintenance of company-provided tools, vehicles, tablets, and cell phones.
* _*Communication:*_ Direct any questions or concerns related to job efficiency and progress to the Installer Lead for resolution.
* _*Company Assets:*_ Be accountable for all company-provided assets, including credit cards, and use them responsibly for necessary purchases related to installations.
* _*Assistance to Lead:*_ Collaborate with the Installer Lead to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
* _*Documentation:*_ Maintain accurate records and documentation related to installations, including daily progress reports.
* _*Learning and Development:*_ Proactively seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to foodservice equipment installations.
* _*Travel*_: _*Travel: *_Position requires travel estimated at 5-7 days per week.
* _*Technology: *_Communicate through phone and email with general contractors and internal staff.
Ability to utilize project management software.
*Qualifications and Skills:* * *High school diploma or equivalent.
* * *Basic understanding of foodservice equipment installation procedures preferred.
* * *Previous experience in a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
* * *Willingness to learn and follow instructions from the Installer Lead.
* * *Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment.
* * *Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
* * *Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* * *Random and scheduled drug testing for project requirements.
* * *Lift 50+ Lbs.
