Northwest Hardwoods is the premier Hardwood Lumber producer in the industry serving furniture, cabinet, and moulding and millwork segments worldwide.
We operate manufacturing facilities through out the United States.
We have immediate openings for a full time Millwright.
Key Functions: The candidate will be able to perform normal repairs, replacements and enhancements of all manufacturing operational equipment and site facilities.
Possess strong analytical skills, ability to diagnose potential problems to prevent downtime situations.
Will need to document procedures, downtime, resolutions, and complete associated reports.
Maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
Have the basic skills and mechanical abilities, read electrical diagrams, be able to use hand and power tools, welding/cutting, , hydraulics and pneumatics.
Have a basic understanding of the machine manuals.
Requirements:
· PLC and Ladder Logic knowledge
· Programming and troubleshooting PLCs to include Allen Bradley (RSLogix500 and ControlLogix)
· Experience installing, configuring, repairing and maintaining various brands of AC and DC electronic drives and soft starts
Oregon State Limited Plant Journeyman/Journeywoman’s license
· Skilled in configuration and calibration of a wide variety of sensors
· Experience in a forest product manufacturing environment is a plus.
· Experienced in configuring, set up and troubleshooting industrial networks
· This job is day shift but candidate must be available for the occasional call in after hours.
· A high-school diploma or equivalent is required.
Candidates must be able to work any shift, including holidays and weekend work.
Overtime is expected.
