As an Industrial/Commercial Journeyman Electrician at Northwest Electric and Excavation, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical services to our diverse client base.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in control systems and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
This position requires a self-motivated professional who excels in both technical skills and customer communication.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Control Expertise:*
* Design, install, and maintain industrial and commercial control systems.
* Troubleshoot and repair complex systems to ensure optimal functionality.
* *Electrical System Installation and Maintenance:*
* Execute electrical installations in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to identify and address potential issues.
* *Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:*
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently.
* Implement effective solutions to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
* *Customer Communication:*
* Interact professionally with clients to understand their electrical needs and expectations.
* Provide clear explanations of work performed, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.
* *Project Management:*
* Manage and coordinate electrical projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
* Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve project goals.
* *Safety Compliance:*
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Implement best practices for electrical safety during all tasks.
*Qualifications:*
* Journeyman Electrician license in Oregon.
* 4 Years experience as a Journeyman Electrician
* Proven experience in industrial and commercial electrical work, with a focus on controls and troubleshooting.
* Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
