We're looking for a Line Supervisor at our facility in Junction City, Oregon.

SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide hands-on supervision of plant production activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Supervise day-to-day manufacturing activities and work directly with all staff to achieve production objectives.
Partner with other Production leadership to coordinate personnel allocation and production activities within and between work areas.
Provide leadership and mentorship to Production Operators, assessing employee capabilities and delivering training to address identified gaps.
Operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
Ensure the clean and sanitary conditions of the facility according to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Inspect ingredients, packaging, and equipment to determine production-readiness.
Enforce and advocate for company policies, standards, and protocols.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory or lead hand role in a manufacturing environment; preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in the food processing industry
Demonstrated superior decision making and problem-solving abilities
Strong record of working with tight deadlines and high volumes of product
Highly motivated and efficient while possessing both interpersonal and communication skills
Proven mechanical aptitude
Adept at working directly with production personnel
Ability to speak, read and write English fluently as it pertains to fulfilling job requirements.
Ability to work in a team environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing and walking up to 8 hours
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Able to continually bend, stoop, twist, use arms, wrists and hands (including grasping and squeezing) throughout shift
Able to occasionally kneel, reach above the shoulder, work at heights and climb steps with ingredients weighing up to 50 lbs
