As a rapidly growing company utilizing state of the art machinery, our maintenance department must utilize a wide range of skills to accomplish our goals.
While everyone meeting the essential qualifications is encouraged to apply, presently our focus is adding depth to our electrical maintenance capabilities.
WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD: Possess an Oregon electrical license (LME minimum) or be able to obtain within 90 days.
Possess the ability and have the desire to perform all maintenance related tasks whether they be mechanical or electrical.
Experience troubleshooting automation system breakdowns.
Experience performing electrical maintenance related tasks on systems ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC.
Ability to serve as a facility resource for electrical regulatory compliance.
Ability to act as a steward for electrical safety and training, potentially including mentorship of an apprentice.
Experience working with highspeed packaging systems or food production.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Complete predictive and preventative maintenance, changeover, set-up, and adjustments on mixing, processing, packaging, and conveyance equipment.
Good working knowledge of conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Troubleshoot mechanical and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
Read and interpret operations manuals to determine work and troubleshooting procedures.
Communicate the correct operation of machinery and assist operators and quality technicians to diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify a variety of production-based, dynamic, day-to-day challenges.
Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as jacks, cranes and forklifts to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery.
Experience in welding and fabrication (not required but preferred).
Participate in the implementation of various improvement projects.
POSITION DEMANDS: Standing and walking up to 10 hours.
Lifting and carrying 25 to 50 lbs.
Continually bending, stooping, twisting, using arms, wrists, and hands (including grasping and squeezing) throughout shift.
Occasionally kneeling, reaching above the shoulder, working at heights, and climbing steps.
The ability to work independently.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as required by operation or maintenance needs.
