Evergreen Roofing of Oregon is seeking a Commercial Flat Roof Foreman for our Membrane Division.
The primary duties for a Commercial Flat Roof Foreman involve working closely with the project manager to determine hiring needs, training team members, deadlines for specific tasks, ability to read plans and specs, having excellent communication and leadership skills, and safety protocols.
Knowledge of installing and repairing various products on commercial properties.
Able to work with a diverse team, problem solving skills, basic math functions, including measurements, timely decision, and sound judgement.
Job Summary:
• We have year-round work, with backlog of work and OT Offered
• Supervision of team members.
Directing team and delegating tasks.
• Responsible for paperwork completion, timesheets and ensuring safety policies are being followed.
• Able to collaborate with a multi-cultural team and communicate effectively across departments.
• Work with Project Manager on Jobs to establish & meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Responsible for company equipment and tools.
• Be able to work in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete the tasks.
Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience installing and repairing TPO, PVC, BUR, EPDM, Single-Ply,
Coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Must be able to communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Must have good problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
, climb up and down ladders safely, and properly use safety equipment.
• Must be proficient with smart phones and tablets.
• A valid drivers’ license in good standing is required.
• Must be 18 or older.
