Evergreen Engineering is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our expanding company and innovative team.
The engineer will be responsible for design, layout, and detail drafting of moderate to complex electrical systems on heavy industrial and manufacturing projects for clients in the various industries we serve.
Position Roles:
Gain experience with design of industrial electrical systems including 3D modeling, one-line drawings, grounding drawings, wiring drawings, conduit and cable tray routing, electrical specifications, instrument lists, and motor lists, transformers, grounding and bonding, switchgear, MCCs, and control systems
Learn to do arc flash short-circuit analysis using Easypower software
Perform field data collection of existing systems and equipment
More experienced candidates will have additional engineering and project engineering opportunities.
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Desired knowledge in areas including electrical power design and distribution, grounding and bonding, electrical control systems, electrical specifications, and P&IDs
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Easypower is desired.
Previous engineering or electrical construction experience is a plus.
Schedule and Benefits:
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with flexible schedule options.
Initial preference is to be in-office, with available telecommuting or hybrid option after adequate onboarding.
