Truck Driver
Employment: Full Time
Starting Pay: $21-$25 an hour
Bridge Access Specialties (BAS) has specialized under bridge inspection trucks with operators for bridge inspection or maintenance for Rail Roads, Transit Systems and Highways.
BAS is an industry leading organization that is growing and looking for professional operator/drivers to join our team and grow with the company.
We are located in Springfield, OR and Mt Juliet, TN but work all across the United States.
Job Description: Our Bridge Truck / Snooper Truck operator/drivers drive the units to the job, meet and build a relationship with the customer, deploy the booms and give the customer a so called ride while they inspect the bridge.
BAS will train and certify you to operate the bridge truck.
For the right applicant, and a two year employment contract, BAS will also cover the expense of obtaining a Class B CDL.
Extensive travel is required.
1-7 weeks at a time.
When not on a contracted job there will be 40hr weeks performing maintenance or training at your home yard in either Springfield, OR or Mt Juliet, TN.
Job Requirements:
This job requires extensive travel, up to 1 to 7 weeks at a time
CDL, current class A or B (with no DUI s).
BAS will train the right person for CDL if needed.
Strong work ethics/self-motivated with strong safety standards
Effective communicator / Build relationship and rapport with customer
Mechanical background a plus
Bridge, Rail Road or Construction experience a plus
Hydraulic controls experience a plus such as bucket truck, heavy equipment, man lift, fork lift
Ability to work at heights a must
