The primary responsibility of the Green Chain Puller is to pull lumber from a moving conveyor (chain) and stack it in a safe and efficient manner.
The Chain Puller works closely with other members of the green chain to properly sort, manage and prepare lumber for the next stage of production.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pull lumber from moving conveyor (chain)
Stack lumber in designated area
Follow safety procedures and guidelines
Communicate effectively with other members of the production team
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years old
Be able to pass physical and drug tests
Prior lumber manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
Ability to learn and follow safety procedures and guidelines
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Ability to push, pull, twist, lift, crouch and bend as needed.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to interact effectively and respectfully with others
Open to overtime and occasional Saturday work, as the market dictates
