*Manufacturing Machine and Laser Operator*

We are looking for team members with at least 3 years of experience in a production setting including, Cutter and Laser Operator.
Your references will need to be able to tell us how you are a team builder who is interested in Safety, Quality, Standard Work, Continuous Improvement, and building other members of your team.
*Responsibilities*
Calibrate the machine before the production begins.
Ensure the machines are regularly checked and cleaned.
Monitor and control the machine performance and settings.
Feed raw materials into semi-automated machines and help the assembly line.
Check the output of the machines and identify any issues.
Maintain a log of the activity.
Regularly submit performance reports.
Duties include:
* Monitoring and maintaining control of production equipment in assigned areas.
* Perform quality checks in the manufacturing process and report issues.
* Enter data onto computers and log sheets.
* Prepare quality samples consistently in a timely manner.
* Perform job duties such as tracking, recording, measuring, and adjusting machine performance.
* Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures in assigned department.
* Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.
) to start a production cycle.
* Attention to detail.
Size matters.
* Perform duties in accordance with customer requirements and company policies.
* Continuous Improvement by building your team's ability to accomplish Safety, Quality, On Time Delivery at ever reduced costs.
* Control and adjust machine settings (e.
g.
, speed)
* Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.
g.
, constant use of protective gear)
* Other duties as assigned.
*Applicants should possess the following qualifications:*
* Maintain regular attendance.

* The ability to think independently, while working within company structures and guidelines
* History of teamwork and cooperation
* Skilled in positions requiring attention to detail.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Experience in all areas of manufacturing industry preferred.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to be on feet for long periods of time, lift, carry, pull, reach, bend, move, and use hands accurately.

* · Willing to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
* · Follow daily operations and schedule.
* · Routinely quality check work throughout the day
* · Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience a plus
* · Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
* · Experience leading a small crew (3-6 people)
* · Shown ability to increase efficiencies and show process improvements.
Must show a stable job history that shows individual growth.
Strong preference to those with 5+ years at a single employer and more than one employer.
Pay is commensurate with experience and the skills you bring to the team, ranging from $20-$25 per hour.
