Production Supervisor
The Springfield Creamery, the makers of "Nancy's Probiotic Foods", located in Eugene, Oregon, is seeking a Production Supervisor.
This is a critical position to Springfield Creamery's operation, that oversees all production employees and processes in daily facility production.
Responsibilities include: Production employee scheduling, managing of daily production schedule, communication between departments, implementing and enforcing company policies.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational skills, and have a dedicated commitment to producing the highest quality food.

*NECESSARY SKILLS, ABILITIES AND AMBITIONS:*
* Knowledge of food safety requirements & manufacturing practices
* Interpersonal skills to interact with employees, contractors, vendors in a positive and professional manner
* Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards are not overlooked
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to troubleshoot issues when they arise
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and have a sense of urgency when necessary
* Reliability & strong work ethic - begin work on time, maintain excellent attendance record, and conform to work hours and schedule
* Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a stressful and fast paced environment
* Knowledge of processing system and mechanical experience
* Must be able to carry up to 55 lbs.
and operate a barrel jack, forklift, and pallet jack
* Must be able to push/pull up to 75 lbs.

* Must have physical stamina and be able to be active for a full shift
*PREFERRED EXPERIENCE*
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* 5+ years experience in food industry
* 3+ years in Supervisor/Manager role

*Scope of Position:*
This position is Monday-Friday.
Some necessity for extended hours is a possibility.
Weekend hours are rare.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.
