Essential Duties for Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter: Knowledge of piping systems materials and their properties, including but not limited to plastics, iron, malleable steel, copper, brass, chromium, aluminum, and stainless steel Possess knowledge of pipe fabrication practices and procedures including electric, arc, and acetylene welding, brazing, and soldering Familiarity with threading, glued, bolted, and compression-type fittings Requirements for Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter: 6+ years of fire/sprinkler experience 2+ years of Foreman experience, preferred Ability to relay instructions and directions to workers Highly organized, systematic, and adherent to construction deadlines Valid driver license Ability to work overtime.
