*Job Responsibilities:*
* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in the cannabis industry.
* Generate new leads and actively pursue sales opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Educate customers on our product offerings highlighting their unique features, benefits, and compliance with local regulations.
* Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the quality and value of our cannabis products.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and initiatives to drive revenue growth.
* Stay informed about the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.
* Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Collect and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market insights to provide regular reports and recommendations to the sales and marketing teams.
* Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand professional networks and represent the company effectively.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales volumes, and revenue forecasts.
*Qualifications:*
* Previous experience in cannabis sales, preferably in a B2B or wholesale capacity, is highly desirable.
* Deep knowledge of cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and industry regulations.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
* Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for sales and a drive to succeed.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in using Leaflink to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
* Flexibility to travel to customer locations and attend events.
* Knowledge of local and state cannabis regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
* High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional education or certification in sales or related fields is a plus.
