If you are proactive and prefer to take care of things as they come up, love to garden, do yard work, and help keep a place tidy and clean, you will appreciate that we do, too:-)
Our neighborhood, the Laurel Hill Valley, is tucked behind Hendrick's Hill.
Close to the UO but outside "party central".

It is a sleepy and quiet charming little neighborhood right in town with lots of owner-occupied and unique homes.
Centrally located, it still feels more rural than urban or suburban.
Wild turkeys and deer can often be seen, and there are a lot of trees.
We are near hiking/running/jogging trails including Pre's, and the bike path.
We are a "mature" couple who genuinely enjoy each other's company.
Seldom do we "entertain" and prefer to spend our time pursuing outdoor activities such as rock climbing, jogging, gardening and more.
The house is on the larger side, but storage is at somewhat of a premium.
Currently, we have only one housemate, a young but mature and incredibly organized professional.
A bit introverted, but very easy to get along with and an exemplary housemate.
We all enjoy tending to the large garden and small flock of chickens, both independently and collaboratively.
If the housing market or maintenance stresses cause you to consider renting, and this home environment sounds like your cup of tea, we encourage you to reach out to us.
Something of a partial work trade for some of the rent may be possible, in time, if (together) we can find a way for you to comfortably contribute.
Through garden participation, you can also benefit through the enjoyment of myriad fruits and vegetables.
In our opinion, an ideal housemate is:
* mindful of their impact on others and the built, as well as the natural, environment
* quiet
* respectful
* tidy
* non smoking
These are great qualities we have to offer in addition to appreciating.
Although we are not vegetarian, we can accommodate housemates who are.
FYI, we don't play loud music or tv and prefer not listening to something someone else is playing unless it's something we are watching or listening to together.
Exercise and a healthy lifestyle are important to us, we recycle, are vaccinated, do not support trump, and look forward to sharing space with someone who is like-minded.
