_*As the front desk receptionist, you will support educational aspects of the school by presenting a professional, knowledgeable "face" of the student salon and booking students with clients to practice their skills.
You will be working with students and the public to ensure smooth day to day operations, while being part of the educational and professional growth of our students!*_
The qualified candidates will have excellent customer service and retail sales experience/skills as well as experience in performing all front desk operations.
The receptionist will promptly greet clients and customers by phone or in person, determine the nature of their business, and direct to appropriate destination.
Computer skills a must as well as multiple line phone system.

*Receptionist Day-to-Day responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
* Be a role model for students, embodying professional communication, dress and demeanor.
* Train students to fully function as a receptionist and on front desk procedures and create a monthly training schedule for students.
* Greet incoming visitors with friendliness and professionalism.
Answer any questions and provide superior customer service.
* Conduct school tours in coordination with Admissions Representative and Campus Manager.
* Respond to inquiries regarding services, admissions, and general school information from clients, students, staff, and delivery companies.
* Maintain ProSalon software program to coordinate student and client schedules, document and track family services list and student services lists.
* Balance and reconcile daily cash and make safe drops over the allotted daily cash drawer amount.
Open and close cash drawer and balance throughout the day.
* Maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness of front desk, lobby and surrounding area, equipment, front windows, water plants, dusting/wiping and straightening shelves, vacuuming, and empty/pick up trash from lobby and surrounding area.
* Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned or as delegated.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* 2 to 3 years of general office type work/experience or equivalent customer service, cashier, multi-line phone answering and intermediate level computer skills.
* Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills, as well as strong organizational and sales experience are required.
Must be able to communicate effectively in writing, over the phone and in person.
* Ability to learn and operate variety of software for client, student and prospective student records maintenance.
* Knowledge of an experience in the salon and or cosmetology industry is helpful, but not required.
* High School Diploma or GED
