We have 50 pigeons that we need to rehome.
They are rehome ONLY and not for hunting purposes.
They love to go out and fly and are experienced flyers and are very good at not getting “hawk struck”.
They are rollers/homers/racer crosses with a few being full rollers.
Different colors a lot of grey and darker colors which is better for flight because they are less like to get “hawk struck” because they don’t show up as well as light colored birds.
Tame enough that some land on us and when we let them out to fly they hang out in the backyard with us and our cats and dog.
They come with a call push button alarm device that you use every time you feed them and then every time you want them to come in from flying.
They eat a mix of pigeon pellets and pigeon seed both high protein high fiber.
We get one from Wilco and one from H and E feed.
I can throw in the cardboard boxes that have holes in them for transport and you can fit two to a box or one in each.
They also come with some brand new “feggs” which are fake eggs to replace for when they lay eggs in the case that you don’t want more.
They are currently not laying but when they start in the spring they will lay a LOT of eggs.
We had a change that forces us to have to rehome them otherwise we would keep them as we had not intended to ever not be able to have them for many years.
They will need to be kept caged for 2 months before being let out to fly or else they will try to come back to our home.
Willing to sell cheap large outdoor walk in chain link dog kennel (it’s where they currently live in when not out flying) will help to break down for transport.
We will no longer need it without them.
Also their waterer if wanted.
Birds are free to confirmed good home.
We just want them to have a home where they can fly free and be fed and watered and enjoyed and not used for hunting purposes.
Let me know if you have any questions.
