Update: foster home found.
Still seeking adopter.
In 2022 we had to rehome my aunt's approximately 28 cats after she was diagnosed with alzheimers and Parkinsons and had to move in with her son.
Itty Bitty was my aunt's favorite cat and we found a couple to adopt him back then but now he is getting returned after the couple broke up.
The man says he's struggling to take care of 2 cats.
Itty Bitty has so much love to give and he loves to be carried and held, and he is so affectionate.
He is a very very special cat.
My aunt bottle fed him as a baby.
Now he is middle aged.
.
.
maybe about 8 or less.
The man fostering him contacts me every day telling me how wonderful this cat is and sends me videos of Itty Bitty clinging to his chest so happily getting snuggled.
He does really well with other cats, infact he was bullied by my aunt's other cats.
He isn't the type to fight.
We don't know how he is with dogs but my aunt did have a dachshund during the time that Itty Bitty was there.
Medical history: Itty Bitty has always had a bit different way of breathing, it's slightly heavier breaths.
Very recently the former owner took him to the vet for itching, and I met him at the vet.
Turns out he has fleas.
The vet thought that he might have asthma that was exsasterbated by the fleas.
So she gave him a steroid injection, and flea killer.
The owner said that he noticed improvement.
IF he does have asthma I would think it is mild because the only time my aunt took him to the vet was for a neck wound.
In the past, another vet that the former owner took him to thought what he had was a URI and he said he didn't think he has asthma.
The cat living with Itty Bitty never got a URI.
So we are uncertain about Itty Bitty, but he seems to live a normal life for the most part.
He doesn't require frequent vet visits.
He is neutered and was tested negative for FIV/leukemia.
I have an adoption/foster application to be filled out.
We want to ensure a good home.
Adoption fee $25.
