Compensation Base Salary: The full salary range for the Landscape Maintenance Technician position is $20.
00 to $29.
45 per hour, with new hires generally starting between $23.
15 to $25.
50 per hour, based on relevant knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
This range will be converted to semi-monthly ranges for full-time employees.
Annual Incentive: In addition, all SELCO team members receive an annual incentive based on how well SELCO meets the prior year’s strategic business goals.
This incentive is calculated using the team member’s prior year eligible earnings and ranges from 0%-12% (with the average payout over the last five years being 11.
07%).

Check out our complete benefits list here! Position Overview Support SELCO by performing building and grounds inspections, maintenance, and repairs, including conducting periodic preventative maintenance, ensuring equipment and systems are in high functioning working order.
Essential Functions Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment, including building exterior and grounds (e.
g.
landscaping, irrigation, siding, roof, gutters, walkways, parking lot, windows, awnings, and outbuildings) Perform scheduled periodic preventative maintenance.
Perform basic repairs and maintenance.
Promptly report critical issues to Facilities Leadership.
Diagnose and correct mechanical issues.
Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
Schedule and oversee third-party testing and maintenance, such as backflow, leak detection, and roof repairs.
Prepare weekly incident report.
Assist in annual audits for SELCO facilities.
Actively engage and communicate with internal, external, and potential members in a friendly, professional manner in person, over the phone, and in writing.
Demonstrate adaptability and leadership skills, and uphold SELCO’s Mission Statement, Corporate Values, Service Promises and Exceptional Customer Service Standards.
Adhere to federal and state regulations, SELCO policies, confidentiality requirements, and other compliance obligations.

Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent; At least two (2) years of landscape maintenance or equivalent experience; and Valid driver’s license; and Must be bondable.
Physical Demands While performing the job duties, approximately 80% of the time is spent moving around work areas, with the remaining time spent stationary.
Frequent communication occurs in person, over the phone, and in writing.
This position requires the ability to view a computer screen, interpret printed materials and other documents, input information into computer systems, and retrieve and work with appropriate paperwork, equipment, and supplies.
This position requires the ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, lift, and transport up to 50 pounds, and the ability to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into tight spaces.
Interaction and Work Environment Reports To: Facilities Manager Work areas are both inside in a climate-controlled environment with background noise, and outdoors on SELCO properties.
Travel to various SELCO locations is necessary.
May require occasional work outside normal work hours (early mornings, evening, and weekends) to address scheduled and unscheduled facility projects and maintenance.
Material and Equipment Used Computer, Phone, Scanner/Copier, General Office Supplies, Tablet, Automobile, Precision Measuring Instruments, Electronic Testing Devices, and Hand and Power Tools.
