BHS is looking for a Material Handler 1 to join the team at the Danebo facility in Eugene, Oregon.
In this role, you will support the Materials Department in the coordination, receipt, and distribution of incoming materials to meet daily production, receiving, and shipping needs.
You will receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming materials.
You will also perform additional duties including kitting, or cribbing parts for arranging materials to transport within BHS facilities and to BHS customers.
If you have these qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of recent forklift experience required
Previous experience in a receiving role a plus
Basic print reading abilities preferred
Ability to read a tape measure required
Ability to read and understand incoming receipts, invoices, packing slips or orders required
Able to lift up to 50lbs frequently and spend the majority of your workday on your feet in an outdoor environment
Consistent attendance and is an essential skill of this job
Ability to work a 5 10s schedule (Monday-Friday) from 6:00am to 4:30pm

Functioning primarily a ground position, verifying parts vs.
packing slip, or cribbing small bundles and crating parts at the crib table
Once BHS forklift certified, unloading vendor trucks, verifying receipts, and inspecting material quality
Distributing materials to proper locations as necessary
Removing all dunnage and excess packaging from incoming material
Examining contents and comparing with records to verify accuracy of incoming shipment
Building custom wood shipping pallets and crating for small, finished goods
Kitting materials for distribution to the shop and other manufacturing facilities
Kitting small, finished goods to ship to customers
Delivering part kits to and from work areas
Moving items by forklift as needed up to 10,000 pounds
Ensuring inventory and work in process materials are organized in facility and storage yard
