We have been in the same location since 1947, and have seen multiple generations of clients through the years.
You will be working with our Medical Director, Dr.
Andrew Tesh, a 2010 Texas A&M graduate; Josh Boyd, Hospital AdministratorCVT, who started at AHA in 1996; and the rest of our wonderful team!Teamwork is very importantto the culture here at AHA.

Our techs generally work 8am -6pm 4 days a week with a 1 hour lunch, and we alternate who works Saturdays from 9-3.

Our interview process will begin with a phone conversation to answer any questions you may have.
From there, candidates whose values and skills align with the role will be invited for an in person interview.
This typically includes our Hospital Administrator and one member of the team from the department you are interviewing for.
After this, candidates may spend some time with members of the team, to give candidates an opportunity to witness the culture and dynamic, see the team in action,and determine if this is the right fit.

The Veterinary Technician/Assistant supports and assists the Veterinarians, ensuring the safety of pets and clients, and the continuity of quality veterinary care.
They advocate for the pet and work to keep them safe and comfortable during their visit.
This position requires exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds frequently, and/or 10 pounds constantly in order to lift, carry, pull or move objects.
