```Responsibilities:```
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Conduct routine dental examinations and provide preventive care
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients
- Administer anesthetics to patients when necessary
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems such as Epic or Dentrix
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive dental care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses
```Requirements:```
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proven experience as a dentist or in a similar role
- Proficient in performing a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative, endodontic, periodontal, and oral surgery
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for patient management and medical coding purposes
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
