Registered Dental Hygienist (Eugene)

QUALIFICATIONS Must currently hold an active OR state dental hygiene license Preference given to local anesthetic administration and nitrous oxide endorsements Must currently hold an active Healthcare Provider BLS CPR card Must be available Mon, Tues, Wed RESPONSIBILITIES Provide Prophy/SRP/Perio Maintenance to improve health and prevent disease Provide Oral Hygiene Instruction to patients to meet their individualized needs and improve health Educate patients on the oral – systemic link Examine tissues and teeth and communicate findings/concerns to the dentist and assist in properly referring patients as needed Keep accurate records of the patients including treatment and updating medical histories Sterilization of instruments and disinfecting treatment room and surrounding work area Administer fluoride and apply sealants Take X-rays as directed Maintain Patient Confidentiality at all times (HIPPA Compliance) Set up and manage re-care appointments Behave in a professional manner and consistently demonstrate and promote the values of respect and honesty for patients and all members of the team Be punctual for scheduled work and use time wisely Perform duties in a conscientious and cooperative manner Must be neat and maintain a professional appearance BENEFITS 401K with Matching Dental Benefits for you and your immediate family Pay is 40.
