*Job Summary:*
As a portable X-Ray Tech, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures with a high level of technical competency.
Your role will require a solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology, allowing you to apply ionizing radiation for accurate radiologic diagnoses.
You will demonstrate initiative and ingenuity while working with minimal supervision.
*X-Ray Tech Responsibilities:*
* Perform X-ray examinations on patients, following established protocols and safety procedures.
* Ensure patient comfort and cooperation throughout the imaging process.
* Position patients correctly and accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
* Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring its proper functionality.
* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
*X-Ray Tech Requirements:*
* Valid certification as an X-ray technologist/ X-RAY Tech
* Proficiency in performing X-ray procedures with accuracy and efficiency
* Proficient in reading imaging in an EMR system
* Solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* BLS Certification (Preferred)
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
* Valid driver’s license
*License/Certification:*
· ARRT Certification (Required)
