Full-time Float Pool CNA position available for candidate, who is able to drive to and work at various Prestige Care locations within Oregon and Washington, which could potentially be more than 2-hour drive one way.
Full-Time position requires candidate to be able to work double 8-hour shifts - day/evening doubles, every weekend.
Guaranteed hours would be 30+ as a full-time employee.
: Wage: $30.
00 - $32.
00 per hour depending on dual licensure.
: Differentials: 1.
50 per hour for eve shift, 1.
00 per hour for noc shift, 2.
40 per hour for weekend shifts (Friday noc shift through Sunday noc shift).

: Take the next adventure in your nursing career and make a difference in the lives of others when you join our team as a Float Pool Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)!: As a Float Pool CNA at Prestige, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care and assistance to our residents while maintaining a supportive and nurturing environment.
The CNA follows daily activities under the direction of a Licensed Nurse and works together with fellow team members to provide residents with a high-quality care experience.
The Float Pool CNA floats between Prestige locations to fill open shifts based on the high priority staffing needs.
You are required to be flexible in this position and have the ability to be assigned to our highest priority locations in the state that you are licensed.
This is considered a resource position.
In addition to the hourly wage, we offer mileage and lodging when necessary.
: Needed Education Experience to be a Float Pool CNA at Prestige: * An active CNA certificate in the state you wish to practice - multiple states preferred * A minimum of six months’ prior nursing assistant experience in long-term care required prior to traveling to multiple locations * A high school diploma or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience.
* Ability to communicate effectively, in English, with residents, visitors, and staff.

Provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment which promotes resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and their individuality while providing individualized attention and encouraging residents to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being and answering residents’ call lights promptly and courteously.

Ensure that individualized care plans are followed and providing the charge nurse or other care planning staff with specific information, changes and observations of the residents’ needs and preferences.
3.
Attends to the individual needs of residents including assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, or other needs in keeping with the individuals’ care requirements.
4.
Provides care that maintains each resident’s skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.
5.
Protects the personal belongings of each resident including eyeglasses, dentures, hearing aids, furnishings, jewelry, clothing, memorabilia, etc.
6.
Performs various tasks assigned by the charge nurse including vital signs, residents’ weights, applying creams/ointments, collecting specimens, as well as lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention.
7.
Responsible for keeping records documenting care provided or other information in keeping with department policies while performing all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures including thorough hand washing, use of disposable gloves where indicated, and proper disposal of soiled materials.
Education Experience you need to qualify: * A high school diploma or equivalent.
Must hold current Certification in the specific state in which you wish to practice, or, be eligible to obtain certification within four months of employment.
* Basic knowledge and skills utilizing care tracking systems or electronic medical record systems.
* A minimum of three months’ prior nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
