As a member of the Community Care Partners’ Information Technology Department, the IT Systems Support Specialist provides technical assistance and support to our organizations end-users, computer systems, hardware and software throughout our various locations.
This individual will be responsible for answering queries and addressing system and user issues in a timely and professional manner, while working with members of the IT Department.
The IT System Support Specialist supports and adheres to the Community Care Partners Health Code of Ethics, Business Standards, and Shared Values.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: • Provide first point of contact support for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, or through the IT Ticketing system.
• Perform troubleshooting remotely through diagnostic techniques and providing support on site to clinics throughout Oregon, Colorado, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, Texas, and Louisiana.
• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
• Follow-up and update help-desk status and information.
• Provide remote technical assistance and support, conduct computer diagnostics, and resolve problems within the help-desk ticketing system.
• Maintain records of daily ticketing communications, problem and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
• Keep and maintain proper inventory management.
• User account administration for network, application, and systems access for employees.
• Configuration of workstation equipment and ensure of proper installation of operating systems and appropriate software.
• PC image and installs in clinic and office environment.
• Provide printer support to include troubleshooting, toner replacement and networking.
• Provide evening and weekend work when on call on a rotating basis.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications: • Education: A high school diploma/GED is required.
• Certificate/License: None required.
N+, A+ or similar preferred.
• Experience: • A minimum of three (3) years of IT support experience is required.
Medical group or ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Experience with printers, workstations, and perepherals.
• Account provisioning using Microsoft Active Directory or Entra.
• Office 365 experience.
• Understanding of virtual environments.
• Windows 10 and 11.
• Microsoft Intune experience.
• Experience with eClinicalworks, Experity, and Dragon Medical One preferred.
• Demonstrated effective written, verbal and electronic communication that is professional in both content and delivery.
Demonstrated ability to gain trust and respect of the providers, staff, and peers.
Effectively models interpersonal and problem-solving skills to aid in the resolution of issues in a timely manner.
Ability to work as a team member.
Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
Strong interpersonal skills.
