75 per hour Gateway Adult Residential Care, an affiliated group of three 24/7 residential care providers, seeks an experienced LPN to join our Gateway Living campus.
This campus is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in the Gateway area in Springfield, OR.
Gateway Living consists of eleven homes; six homes support Residents who have Memory Care diagnosis, four homes support Residents with Mental Health or Complex/Challenging behaviors and, one final home is utilized for Residential Care.
POSITION SUMMARY: Our LPN's will provide basic bedside care under the direction of a registered nurse (RN).
Duties may involve monitoring vital signs, changing dressings, and collecting samples for medical tests.
A successful candidate will be someone able to demonstrate the ability to utilize effective communication skills to create and maintain interpersonal relationships with staff and residents.
As an LPN you will work independently and with a team, supporting each resident.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work with and understand residents with difficult dementia/mental illness diagnoses and must understand and comply with all program rules, regulations, and other government regulations (i.
e.
HIPAA and etc.
).
Qualifications: 1-2 years experience as an LPN in a long-term residential care setting and/or mental health experience preferred.
Current LPN License through OSB and in good standing Ability to successfully communicate with resident family, RNs, GNP, Caregivers and, other medical professionals.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal history background check.
Working knowledge of Eldermark Software program or similar electronic resident record.
Proficiency with computer software programs including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
