Position Summary The Eugene Family YMCA is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to serve as the Walk It Off Coordinator.
This role involves coordinating and facilitating the Walk It Off program, which aims to promote physical activity, community engagement, and overall wellness among individuals of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities Program Coordination Develop and implement strategies to promote the Walk It Off program within the community.
Coordinate all aspects of program logistics, including scheduling, registration, and participant communication.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of the program with other YMCA initiatives.
Participant Engagement Provide excellent customer service to program participants, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages participation from individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Organize and lead group walks, providing guidance and motivation to participants as needed.
Community Outreach Reach out to local organizations, schools, and community groups to promote the program and ensure their involvement.
Follow-up with community organizations for feedback and to thank them for attending.
Program Evaluation Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through participant feedback, surveys, and other assessment tools.
Collect and analyze data related to program participation, retention, and outcomes to inform ongoing improvement efforts.
Administrative Duties Maintain accurate records of program attendance, finances, and other relevant data.
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing program activities, outcomes, and impact for internal and external stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations.
A passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
