Oregon Surgical Wellness is a growing, specialty surgical practice, primarily Breast Surgical Oncology, that has 2 deliciated providers and close-knit staff.
Our primary focus is wellness for our surgical patients.

As a Surgery Scheduler/MA you will serve patients and the provider by scheduling surgeries, coordinating with other offices, gathering and maintaining medical information and developing patient rapport and understanding in a continued effort to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
Successful candidates must have or be able to achieve certification from the AAMA, NCCT, or RMA.
Our ideal candidate has a strong interest in medicine and is comfortable working with electronic health records.

Experience and Skills: *PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:* • Knowledge of medical practice and care to assist in providing patient care.
• Knowledge of surgical terminology.
• Knowledge of administering instruments for patient care.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Ability to assist in a variety of treatments and medications as directed.
• Skill in taking vital signs and skill in maintaining medical records and recording test results.
• Assist in maintaining department quality assurance.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
• Ability to maintain quality control standards.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies.
• Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with physicians, patients, and co-workers.
• Must be flexible and a quick learner.
• Ability to multi-task and float to any position.
*EDUCATION: *Equivalent of a high school diploma.
*EXPERIENCE: one* to three years of relevant experience.
*CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:* Certification from the AAMA, NCCT, or RMA is required or the ability to obtain certification within 60 days of the hire date.
Healthcare provider-level CPR certification is required.
