Physician Assistant - Trauma Surgery

Description PeaceHealth RiverBend Trauma Surgery department is searching for a Physician Assistant to join our team.
RiverBend Medical Center is a Level II Trauma center, the largest hospital between Portland, OR and Sacramento, CA.
Join our collegial team of 6 Trauma Surgeons and 4 Trauma Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants.
Our trauma department cares for a variety of complex traumas and acute care surgery patients from the Eugene/Springfield and surrounding communities including the Oregon coast and Southern Oregon.
Practice Highlights: Rounding on patients, OR first assist, and seeing your patients in the clinic.
Working with Surgeon and Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistant to coordinate and share the workload.
Work/life balance: 4 10-hour shifts/week.
Procedures include: Chest tube placement, a-line and central line insertion, I & Ds, and laceration closure.
392 beds average volumes of 3,500 patients/year.
Springfield is located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, also known as, Oregon wine country.
Two rivers run through the community, the Willamette River, and McKenzie River.
Bike, walk or run the Middle Fork Path along the Willamette River, or spend the day fishing on the McKenzie River.
