Oregon Urology Institute has a Full-time, Human Resources Generalist opportunity available.
Oregon Urology Institute is one of the largest, most advanced urological centers in the Northwest.
Oregon Urology Institute and Oregon SurgiCenter provides patients with some of the region's finest medical experts covering every major urological specialty using proven and leading-edge technologies such as robotic surgery, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy.
The Human Resource Generalist (HRG) will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department for a Urology Practice, Radiation Center and Ambulatory Surgery center.
The HRG will serve the employees and leadership with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, pay administration, WC claims, leave guidelines, and communicating company policies and practices.
Responsibilities Recruiting, attracting talent and interviewing.
Coordinate new-hire onboarding process.
Coordinate offboarding process.
Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, and organizational change.
Assist leaders with employee relations matters, coach to ensure guidelines/policies are followed and conduct investigations.
Attend and prepare leaders for unemployment hearings.
Coordinate the personnel records system.
Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development.
Coordinate WC Claims and injury investigations.
Coordinate employee LEAVE guidelines: FMLA, OFLA and PLO.
Coordinate performance management processes, track evaluation schedules and forms.
Required skills and qualifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems.
2 years of human resources generalist experience.
Have an approachable and fun personality.
Preferred skills and qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent education and experience) in human resources, business, or related field.
Professional HR certifications Proven success working in an HR department.
Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail Excellent software skills with ADP, ApplicantPOOL, MS Office; Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Medical knowledge is beneficial.
All candidates must pass a drug screen, reference, and background check to be considered for employment.
This is a Full-time position.
