Dental Hygienist

Our office is seeking to fill a full time position with one full time hygienist or a couple of part time hygienists.
Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take digital dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dexis and Daisy - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in using Dexis and Daisy or similar dental software for medical documentation and record keeping - Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and techniques helpful - Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry - Ability to perform patient assessments and identify oral health issues - Experience working with electronic medical records systems, such as Daisy - Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental office setting As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting good oral health and providing quality care to our patients.
