Prior Authorization Specialist

*Pacific Sports and Spine* is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist to join our team.
The prior authorization specialist will be responsible for the following: * Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients * Obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies for medical procedures * Review medical records and documentation to support the need for prior authorization * Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to gather necessary information * Maintain accurate records of prior authorization requests and outcomes One to two years of medical office experience, familiarity with insurance verification and prior authorization process and a working knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 required.
Must be able to work independently or in a team in a fast paced environment, have strong interpersonal skills, have a high attention to detail and be able to multi-task.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.
