Communicating with other health care providers, reviewing patient records, provide immunizations and filling medication orders while following HIPPA guidelines, ensures we can meet our patient's needs.
You provide courteous customer service and assist the Pharmacist on duty in maintaining the clean and orderly appearance of the pharmacy area, prioritizing work, and processing prescription orders in compliance with Federal and State laws and company policies and procedures.

n preparing and dispensing medications - Maintain inventory of medications and supplies - Enter prescription information into the computer system accurately - Perform calculations to determine proper medication dosages - Prepare sterile products using aseptic technique - Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals - Answer phone calls and address inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective medication use Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience - Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT) is preferred - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration - Familiarity with aseptic technique for preparing sterile products - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team - Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting is a plus This position offers an opportunity to work in a critical care setting, providing patient care and supporting the pharmacy team.
