The Airport Leasing and Concessions Manager is responsible for managing and developing properties owned or leased by the airport, including hangars, structures, terminal concessions, and other leased spaces.
The Airport Leasing and Properties Manager oversees the property management process, ensuring that all properties are well- maintained and generating revenue.
This can include construction, maintenance, leasing, budgeting, and tenant relations.
This is a dynamic position that will require a person who is able to show creativity and drive.
Department/Division: Public Works Department / Airport Division Salary Range: $42.

Accepting on-line applications only Examples of Duties Performed - Duties may include but are not limited to the following Develop and implement airport property management policies, procedures, and strategies.
Develop and manage the airport’s passenger-facing concessions.
Ensure compliance by tenants with contractual obligations, environmental obligations, and Airport Rules and Regulations.
Oversee General Aviation (GA) tenant relations, including lease negotiations and dispute resolution.
Act as project manager for hangar builds and other GA related projects.
Develop and manage property budgets, ensuring that expenses are within budgetary limits.
Maximize customer service and revenues from Aviation properties and programs.
Manage and track budget development and tracking of airport commercial concession business units.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.
Identify and pursue opportunities to generate revenue from airport properties, including leasing and development.
Collaborate with airport staff and outside contractors to ensure that properties are safe and secure.
Maintain accurate records of property management activities, including financial transactions, lease agreements, and maintenance logs.
Prepare reports for senior management on property management activities and performance.
Ensure adherence to FAA Airport Sponsor Grant Assurances.
Understand and comply with the Airport Improvement Program Handbook.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job.

A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Experience: Four and a half years of related professional experience in property management, preferably in the aviation industry.
Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the assigned program area.
Additional qualifying professional level experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
Master's degree preferred.
The Ideal Candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to property management in an airport setting.
Experience in projects that require intermediate level knowledge of multiple disciplines such as maintenance, operations, planning, engineering, construction, environmental, and safety is desirable.
Experience and understanding of legal and contractual documents.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with property management software and financial management tools.
Knowledge of FAA Grant Assurances and Federal Aviation Regulations is preferred.
Knowledge of airport concession programs is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with airport staff, tenants, and contractors.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to exercise discretion in confidential and sensitive matters.
Ability to work well in a team environment, but also to take initiative and act independently.
High level of communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly in written and oral form.
Actively work to promote Eugene Airport’s core principles of Inclusion and belonging.
Supplemental Information What to Expect from our Selection Process: Applicants are screened based upon their relevant knowledge, abilities, skills, experience, and training.
The selection process varies according to the position and can include such things as screening of supplemental questionnaires, written or skill tests, ability or fitness tests, interviews, and assessment processes.
