Hospice Help
Death is one of the most feared of all phenomenons.
It's largely unknown, dreaded, and seldom wished for*
Death is heavy and accompanied by great sadness.
In some instances though, there may also be a sense of relief, if someone had been long suffering.
Losing someone we love is the most challenging and greatest of all of life's losses.
I have helped in this transitioning process by giving respite to families, sitting with their loved ones, offering support, solace, and an often much needed breather, for all involved.
I completed training in a hospice program in 2000, and began helping families thereafter.
It has been a humbling process to be a part of.
I am quiet and sensitive; my only goal is to be there, in whatever capacity I am needed.
I am a certified reiki and therapeutic touch practitioner, something I have offered to people in transition.
I'm also trained as a mental health counselor.
I work independently; I have no affiliation with outside agencies or organizations.
If you are considering or needing help, do not hesitate to reach out, at which time
I am happy to share more about me.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping.
Most sincerely,
Barbara
* Even in the case of suicide, many who attempt or execute it are often desperate for profound change to occur, the end/or death of whatever is causing prolonged suffering in their lives.
