Bread Bakery - Delivery Driver

The Bread Stop Bakery is looking for a Full-Time Delivery Driver (3-4 days per week) to provide customer service to our restaurant and grocery store accounts.
Applicants must have a clean driving record for 3 years and able to drive a standard cargo van (CDL not required).
The work day begins at approximately 5am.
The length of the work day is approximately 10-12 hrs.
Deliveries from Eugene to the Salem area.
Delivery drivers work as a team and closely with the Bakery Office Manager in communicating needs, suggestions or feedback regarding customer orders and service.
Drivers are to be safe, courteous and responsible to all rules of the road.
Delivery crew have excellent math skills, an attention to detail, and are able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while providing service to our accounts.
High level of reliability with ability to work autonomously/independently is required.
The Bread Stop Bakery is a local, family-owned wholesale bakery in Eugene that produces hand crafted bread made in small batches using traditional bread making methods.
Bread Stop breads are made from natural ingredients free of additives or preservatives.
We are proud to serve our community for over 33 years and our products can be found in local groceries stores and restaurants.
*IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:* · Be physically fit: The work entails a lot of lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling and getting in and out of a cargo van repeatedly.
· Have strong organizational skills: able to work in tight spaces (grocery store aisles, receiving areas) along with other vendors and amongst store patrons.
· Have strong math skills: able to accurately adjust invoices and credits memos as necessary · Be strong with communication and interpersonal skills · Have a clean driving record for 3 years · Follow and maintain health and safety procedures and guidelines · Obtain a current Food Handler’s Card *QUALITIES WE'RE LOOKING FOR:* · Excellent customer service skills · Strong organizational skills.
