Position Summary:
The warehouse worker / delivery driver is responsible for receiving, storing and organizing materials and supplies in both warehouses; accurately staging daily jobs for multiple departments; and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of the correct materials and supplies to jobsites.
Required Qualifications
Valid Oregon driver license and clean driving record, must be insurable
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
Energetic personality and a drive to succeed
Must be able to work independently and with a strong sense of self-direction
Ability to prioritize assignments and multitask, both independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of operating warehouse machinery and equipment preferred
General knowledge of Eugene/Springfield area and I-5 corridor
Good organizational and time management skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with, or the ability to learn and retain, industry knowledge and standards
Education and Experience
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery setting preferred
Experience pulling a trailer and operating other large vehicles preferred
Basic comprehension of written and vocal English language
Ability to operate some electronic devices, ie.
cell phone and desktop computer
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Adhere to state laws and company safety policies, both on and off of the road
Accurately and efficiently gather specified materials and equipment to stage for upcoming jobs
Accurately and efficiently load specified materials and equipment onto trucks and/or trailers for jobsite delivery
Review quality of and mark down quantity of materials that have come back from prior jobs
Assist installers in loading and unloading materials and equipment
Ensure warehouses and parking lots are kept tidy and free of trash and debris
Be punctual and attentive to timesheet
Other various tasks as assigned by supervisor
