We’re ready to hire a Household Supervisor to work either a 24-hour or 48-hour each week.
Working twice per week earns $2165 in an average month.
Do you know how to help people appreciate and enjoy themselves in spite of their personal foibles? Do you bring out the playfulness and gentle humor in others? Are you able be both professional and personable? Are you willing to play simple games like UNO and Mexican Train?
Have you already become qualified to work with developmentally disabled adults? If you have, we could start training you right away.
If you're not yet qualified we can help you become so.
It's straight forward.
The State provides materials online for you to study at your convenience.
Then you schedule to be tested over the materials.
This can happen pretty quickly if you're a quick study.
The State also conducts a background check.
In addition, we hope you have a good driving record so we can put you on the insurance to drive the company van for taking folks on outings.
Driving is not absolutely necessary but would definitely be a plus.
We live in community with a few developmentally disabled folks on a little farm near the community college.
We are ready to hire a Respite Supervisor to work either a 24-hour or a 48-hour shift each week.
As such, you would stay here and maintain the household schedule.
You'd cook and serve meals, help residents find things to do, play games, work with two residents who need daily help with bathing and dressing, keep the place tidy, do laundry, administer medications as prescribed, keep written records and so on.
This is not a position where you need to stay awake all night.
You'll have your own comfortable bedroom with bathroom during your stay.
You're expected to sleep at night and be well rested during day times.
But an emergency or client illness could be cause for having to be awakened at night.
Could you be available to cover a 48 hour shift each week? Or a 24-hour shift? What works best for you?
Pay is $500 per weekly for a 48 hour shift (sleeping hours are not paid time).
So you'll earn $2165 per average month.
It’s half that if you work just a 24-hour shift each week.
