1800 RPM Kubota motor with only 610 hours! Made for large motorhomes with up to 3 air conditioning units, or other critical electrical demand needs.
120/240 volts single phase.
This unit came out of a Sprinter van converted by the Los Angeles Police Department as their only Emergency Communications Command Vehicle.
This vehicle was to be used in the event of a major disaster that wiped out most communication and was to be their mobile communications command post.
They chose this generator over a Generac, for its reliablity, low noise and low fuel consumption.
They were required to start the generator daily for at least 30-60 minutes to make sure it was ready to go.
Being it was a critical emergency vehicle, everything was constantly serviced and well maintained to be ready to go at a moments notice.
The Sprinter only had 6,200 miles on and the majority of the hours on the generator were only from daily "readiness runs" and not under any load.
We ran this when it was still in the Sprinter for our house for 3 days during a power outage and it worked great.
These generators have sliding mounts available, remote start and other accessories for any application.
