Unusual Large Walnut Slant-top Desk - $975 (Eugene)

Originally this was likely a Cartographer's Desk, and possibly used on a ship.
A unique statement piece that is functional as a "standing desk" or with bar height stools.
The end sections open upward, with dovetailed drawers under and between.
The beautiful walnut desk was refurbished at some point (probably in the 1920s) and the legs were threaded to detach so it can be moved easily.
There are a few minor flaws and evidence or old repair.
It is a charming one-of-a-kind piece.
The width is just under 7 feet, the depth is 33 inches and it stands 52 inches at the back and about 48 inches at the front.
