Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) *Responsibilities*: 1.
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility’s programs and activities.
2.
Develop and maintain written policies and procedures and professional standards of practice.
3.
Delegate administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability to staff personnel.
4.
Consult with department directors to ensure continuous information sharing.
5.
Identify staffing needs, conduct interviews, and manage employee relations.
6.
Prepare and review the annual operating budget and financial statements.
7.
Participate in state and federal surveys, develop plans of correction as needed.
8.
Maintain personnel relations, employee morale, and support teamwork.
9.
Review Quality Measures data and public information for accuracy.
10.
Maintain confidentiality of resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
*Qualifications:* 1.
Must possess a Nursing Home Administrator license.
2.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health Administration or similar coursework.
3.
2 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a nursing facility or hospital.
4.
Thorough knowledge of OBRA regulations, the survey process, survey tag numbers, and quality measures.
5.
Knowledgeable of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures, and the laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing facility administration.
