Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management and business operations.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of financial principles, business acumen, and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve company objectives and drive sustainable growth.
Manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue streams to ensure financial stability and profitability.
Oversee financial risk management activities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Lead the preparation of financial statements, CPA relations and communication for tax filing and reporting, and regulatory compliance reports.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop business plans, investment strategies, and capital allocation decisions.
Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and department heads.
Evaluate and negotiate contracts, agreements, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and maximize value.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting financial management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus but not required.
Proven experience in financial management, business analysis, or corporate finance, with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel, ERP, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of driving results in a dynamic business environment.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and decision-making.
Professional certifications (CPA) a plus but not required.
