The Treasury Staff Accountant is responsible for accurate and efficient completion of general accounting functions with primary responsibilities around cash operations.
The Treasury Staff Accountant may be responsible for account analysis, and reconciliation, initial internal control evaluation, preparation of internal financial statements, and annual audit documents; posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals using NetSuite Oracle ERP.
The Treasury Staff Accountant reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Treasury Staff Accountant Wage and Benefits
$24 per hour or commensurate with experience and education.

Hours
Work schedule primarily Monday-Friday to include some weekend shifts or evening shifts during start of academic term, football season, inventories, and audit.
Hybrid work from home possible after minimum 6 months on-site.
Treasury Staff Accountant Primary Responsibilities
Perform daily treasury & accounting functions following standardized procedures and practices.
Verify, allocate, and post transaction detail to appropriate accounts.
Reconcile bank and merchant service accounts.
Assist with reconciling and balancing G/L accounts.
Analyze accounts, records, ledgers, reports and similar accounting documents for accuracy.
Assist month close and annual cycles, verifying accounts and reconciling statements and creating financial statements.
Complete other duties as assigned.
