_ _Administrative Director_ *Position Purpose* Circle of Friends is facilitating change for children and youth with severe disabilities.
We are seeking positive and motivated professionals to join our mission! As the Administrative Director, this crucial and highly organized leadership position is responsible for overseeing the operational and outreach components that make Circle of Friends an innovative and crucial nonprofit within Lane County and beyond.

*Duties* ● Administrative Director reports to the Circle of Friends Board of Directors and has a highly collaborative relationship with the Circle of Friends Educational Director ● Oversees budgets and long term strategies to ensure the growth, viability, and sustainability of the organization ● Works with HR, payroll, and legal services ● Works closely with the Marketing + Development, Outreach, and Executive Committees to ensure Circle of Friends continues to have a strong presence in the community ● Helps develop processes that support the Educational Director and Circle of Friends School ● Works with the Educational Director to review school district contracts ● Maintains strong relationships with local community leaders in the nonprofit, educational, and business sectors, with the ability to attend meetings, luncheons, and events that promote community development ● Mentors and trains Circle of Friends staff when necessary ● Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, to convey information, promote conflict resolution, and build relationships with families, students, staff, community members, and any individuals affiliated with Circle of Friends ● Promotes a culture of excellence built upon emotional and behavioral engagement, use of best practices, and student interests in all activities and across all settings *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* ● Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all individuals affiliated with Circle of Friends and community partners ● Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset ● Ability to follow the regulations associated with Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE), and procedural safeguards and Individual Education Plan (IEP) development and implementation for all students on your caseload ● Ability to work independently, prioritize and resolve issues, and complete the job duties and functions of an Administrative Director within the appropriate timeline ● Regularly participates and facilitates scheduled meetings with the Educational Director, educational team, and the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors ● Willingness to teach or facilitate workshops, staff development classes, and other meetings ● Ensures the safety and security of the building, classroom, and equipment when building spaces are occupied and unoccupied ● Ability to attend events that may be in the evening or on the weekends ● Proficiency in using computers and ability to learn related software applications, online tracking systems, internet research tools, reporting applications, document scanner, and various Google system applications (Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Slides) *Education and Experience* ● Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university ● Master’s Degree preferred in Business, Education, or a related field ● Administrator License preferred ● At least five years of managing experience at a school, nonprofit, or related organization *Physical Requirements* The working environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

_ *Compensation and Benefits* ● Annual salary of $68,000-75,000, based on experience ● Medical and dental ● Retirement package ● Travel stipend ● Paid time off *Required* Must pass a background check and have a current Oregon Driver’s License.
